We're really pleased to have confirmed our new leadership and governance arrangements following the departure of our Executive Director of Finance and Resources.

Since April 2020 we've looked at our leadership structure, and a new leaner executive team will lead us toward delivering our new corporate strategy, Making What Matters Brilliant.

Joe Reeves, Executive Director of Strategy and Growth, will become Executive Director of Finance and Growth. The qualified Chartered Public Finance Accountant will take responsibility for finance, including treasury and procurement, alongside strategy and development.

Executive Director of People Services Baljinder Kang will add IT to her portfolio, overseeing exciting projects including development of the company’s new customer and colleague apps.

David Taylor will retain his role as Executive Director of Operations, leading the teams responsible for housing management, repairs and maintenance across our 34,000 homes.

Chief Executive Glenn Harris said: “We‘ve taken this opportunity to look again at how our organisation is structured, to ensure the teams who work most closely together now sit within the same directorates going forward.

“Our new, leaner, executive team has a collective experience of 33 years at Midland Heart, with a thorough knowledge of and commitment to our business and its core aim of delivering high quality affordable housing across the Midlands.

“We’re looking forward to working together to drive forward our corporate plan and our key goals of delivering 3,000 new affordable homes, investing £100million in our housing stock and becoming an employer of choice by 2024.”
