Midland Heart hands over 1,000th home since launch of corporate plan
We've handed over our 1,000th home since the launch of our corporate plan, Making What Matters Brilliant.

The milestone comes three years after the launch in 2019, which saw us commit to delivering 4,000 affordable family homes by 2025.
The homes built are spread across the West and East Midlands, with the 1,000th home being handed over to its new tenant, Jodie Saunders, at the Spon Lane development in Atherstone.
Since we launched our corporate plan, our development portfolio has gone from strength to strength. To have delivered 1,000 affordable homes in the region is a brilliant achievement for everyone involved and puts us in a great position to be able to deliver 4,000 affordable homes by 2025. I’d also like to extend a warm welcome to Jodie and many others who have moved into their new Midland Heart homes this year.

A range of additional high-quality social housing is also currently under construction or set to start on site across the Midlands, including developments in Birmingham, Burton, Nuneaton, Dudley and Coalville.
