We’re committed to helping our most vulnerable customers mitigate the impact of cost of living increases.

In response to the recent cold weather we’ve experienced, and rising energy prices, we’re delivering 40 ‘winter warmth’ packs to vulnerable customers living in cold homes. The packs contain items that will help keep our customers warm this winter, with items donated by contractors Morgan & Bond, GP Roofing and DRC Property Services.

Each pack consists of a blanket, gloves, hat, scarf, hot water bottle and torch.

Andy Bond, Managing Director of Morgan & Bond, commented: “We understand how difficult it is in this current economic and harsh winter climate to keep warm. Many people cannot afford to heat their homes properly and are struggling to make ends meet. We’re happy to be playing a part in helping Midland Heart customers keep warm this winter, and we look forward to collaborating on more supportive initiatives in future”.

The packs have been well received by recipients, with one customer commenting: “With the recent cold weather I was in need of a blanket to keep warm, I’m so grateful to have been given a winter warmth pack which included a blanket for me. Thank you Midland Heart.”

We extend our thanks to all of our colleagues who have supported this initiative and donated items to our customers.
