Representatives from Midland Heart’s LGBT+ Inclusion Network, Harmony, were among the many celebrating this event. Harmony exists to help improve inclusivity for LGBT+ colleagues at Midland Heart, as well as any others who feel they need support, however they identify themselves.

Ricky Burt, Wellbeing Lead at Midland Heart and Co-Chair of Harmony, commented:

“It’s always great to participate in events like this and for colleagues to get involved too who may not usually have this opportunity. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended on the day, including those who took on extra tasks to bring it together. It wouldn’t have been possible without you.”

Harmony continues to provide a space for employees to be themselves, to support one another, share ideas to raise awareness and foster a working environment of inclusion and belonging.
