Tricas Construction completes at Stafford Road project for Midland Heart

Tricas Construction have achieved practical completion at our site in Uttoxeter.

19th Aug 2021 - Developments

The scheme has delivered 39 new homes and transformed a former brownfield site.

The £4.3m Stafford Road project was commenced in March 2020, immediately before the first national lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite this, and the challenge of a wet winter, Tricas were able to deliver the build of 27 houses and 12 apartments on schedule for clients Midland Heart.

There were many logistical challenges to manage including a neighbouring level crossing and local schools. The efforts of our supply chain and collaborative attitudes of Network Rail, East Staffordshire Council, and the Police, have all contributed to the overall safe delivery of the project. The efforts of the team at Midland Heart and the Design team have also contributed to the fantastic outcome of a quality housing development to be enjoyed and lived in for years to come.

Martin Holmes, Project Manager at Tricas Construction

We've worked together to transform this former brownfield site into 39 much needed new homes. Our core aim is to be a first-class landlord, and part of that aim involves providing more affordable homes to those who need it. The Stafford Road project delivered 39 much needed new affordable homes for affordable rent and shared ownership.
