We’ve been shortlisted at this year’s Housing Heroes awards.

The awards shine a light on the work carried out by the housing sector and, for one year only, they’ll take place alongside the Women in Housing awards as part of the Housing 2021 conference.

We entered the Employer of the Year category, which celebrates employers that invest in talent, represent the communities it works with and demonstrate a clear culture of inclusion and innovation. In short – the best, most inclusive place to work in the housing sector.

Despite the extraordinary challenges this year, we've taken great strides to position ourselves as a leading employer and as a truly great place to work so we’re proud to have been shortlisted for these awards. This year we’ve been able to welcome some fantastic new talent into the business, all of whom have been successfully onboarded virtually. As well as this, we’ve made record investments in our talent development, supported colleagues look after their wellbeing and delivered a competitive reward and benefits package to ensure we attract and retain the right people.

2020/21 also saw us rank 24th in the Inclusive Companies Top 50 employers listing, welcome our first cohort of degree apprentices and maintain our 80% staff engagement score for the second year running.

We’ve been shortlisted alongside eight other housing associations and the winners will be announced in an awards ceremony in Manchester on 7 September 2021.
